Welcome to the HCA Gala!

Thank you for joining us!

Welcome to the 2025 Harvest Christian Academy Gala Auction & Fundraiser! Tonight, we celebrate 21 YEARS of God’s faithfulness to HCA, a journey that began in 2004 when we opened our doors as a beacon of light dedicated to making disciples. As we reflect on the past, we honor the incredible stories of perseverance and commitment from educators, students, families, and supporters who have contributed to our mission. Looking forward, we are excited about the new possibilities that await us as we build on this strong foundation, aiming to expand our programs and nurture future leaders who will impact the world for Christ. Enjoy an evening filled with inspiration, fellowship, and opportunities to support our mission at Harvest Christian Academy.

Welcome our GALA Emcee

HCA is excited to welcome Mrs. Noelle Hoffmeister as the 2025 Gala emcee!
Mrs. Noelle Hoffmeister started at HCA in 2012. She came to us with over 10 years of experience after completing her B.S in Elementary Education at DePaul University and then her M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia. She began here in a grade 5 classroom teacher, moved to being a grades K-12 Instructional Coach and Curriculum Coordinator along with teaching Language Arts in grade 6, and beginning fall of 2022 will move into the role of Lower School Principal. Mrs. Hoffmeister’s passion for instruction, training and growing teachers has proven to be indispensable to HCA. Noelle was married to her husband Jon in 1996 and they began attending Harvest Bible Chapel in 2012. They have three boys, Matthew, Nathan and Jacob, who have all graduated from HCA.

We hope you enjoy the wonderful and witty Mrs. Noelle Hoffmeister as she guides us tonight!

Our KEYNOTE Speaker, Dr. William Washington

Please welcome Dr. William Washington as the keynote speaker for the 2025 HCA Gala! Currently serving as the Vice President and Dean of Student Life at Moody Bible Institute, Dr. Washington brings over 30 years of experience in student affairs, making him a significant figure in the realms of education and leadership. His holistic approach to student development not only enhances the academic experience but also fosters personal and spiritual growth, reflecting his dedication to nurturing the next generation of leaders.

Dr. Washington’s impressive career includes notable roles at Bethel University and Trinity International University, where he made enduring contributions to student life. His commitment to creating vibrant and supportive environments has left a lasting impact, leading to an endowed chair in his honor at Trinity International University. We invite you to join us for an inspiring evening at the 2025 HCA Gala, where Dr. Washington will share his insights with us. Together, we can support Harvest Christian Academy’s mission of continuing providing a transformative, Christ-centered education for our students. Your presence and participation are vital to making a difference!

Our 2024 DISTINGUISHED Alumni, Peter Williams

The HCA Gala is excited to welcome our 2024 Distinguished Alumni Award winner, Peter Williams, to the HCA Gala!

Peter graduated from HCA in 2017 and went on to attend Taylor University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Business. During his time at HCA, Peter consistently demonstrated his leadership abilities, serving as the student council president in both his junior and senior years. His efforts were instrumental in shaping the student council into the driving force behind student life activities at HCA. From an early age, Peter exhibited a strong sense of servant leadership that made a significant impact on our community.

In the summer of 2022, Peter approached Mrs. D’Alessandro and Mr. Young with a visionary idea to launch a Business program at HCA, which has now progressed to what SIPS coffee (our HCA student led, full-service coffee shop) is today. He returned to HCA to teach this valuable class and to establish the business and entrepreneurship program, which has quickly become one of our most exciting and successful initiatives. Mrs. D’Alessandro shared her thoughts on Peter’s contributions, saying, “I love how Peter has encapsulated the phrase ‘Once a Lion, Always a Lion.’ He benefited from an HCA education and recognized the solid foundation it provided him. By returning to HCA, Peter has chosen to invest in the next generation of disciples. He is using his talents to start a new program at HCA so that the legacy of the school can impact more students to fulfill the Great Commission.”
