Mr. Talbott Behnken

About Mr. Talbott Behnken

Mr. Talbott Behnken fell in love with Harvest Christian Academy first as a parent.  He and his wife Misty were preschool parents in 2013 and quickly learned about the school’s spiritual temperature through their first parent-teacher conferences.  In this visit, it was clear that the teachers at HCA know and loved his children and that is what makes HCA so special.

Mr. Behnken’s professional journey at HCA began in the fall of 2016 and he was quickly promoted to the role of superintendent on June 1, 2017. He graduated from Taylor University in 1998 with a social studies education degree and taught in the classroom for 10 years.  In addition, he received his master’s degree from Concordia University. Before coming to HCA, he was the assistant principal at Conant High School in  District 211 from 2012-2016.

Mr. & Mrs. Behnken have attended Harvest Bible Chapel since 2009 and have three children, Lucy, Charlie and Maggie at HCA.
