MIDDLE SCHOOL LIONS
GRADES 5-8
At HCA Middle School, our students are KNOWN, LOVED and EQUIPPED. With the help of our dedicated staff, our 5-8th grade students are participating in rigorous academics and are seeking after authentic spiritual formation by engaging in Chapel and Bible classes.
ACADEMIC GROWTH
Building upon what is taught at HCA lower school, our middle school students continue to engage with core-subjects to increase their critical thinking and understanding of these major subject areas. We offer Bible, Mathematics, Physical Education, English, Science and History. The middle school schedule also includes a variety of elective options* including classes such as Band, Choir, Electric Guitar, Percussion Ensemble, 2D/3D Art, Intro to Google and Computer Science, Intro to Business and Personal Finance, Engineering and Spanish 1-2.
*Elective options are determined by grade level
BEYOND THE CLASSROOM
Middle school students can expand their HCA experience by participating in different extra-curricular activities. HCA Athletics, Theater, Cricut Club, Math Team, National Junior Honor Society, and Do Something Club are all ways that our Lions can engage outside of class time.
