HOW TO NAVIGATE LUNCH AT HCA
CAFETERIA PURCHASES
Harvest Christian Academy offers a daily, nutritious hot lunch program for all students. The cost of a standard meal is $4.50 across all grade levels and includes a carton of milk or a bottled water. Students in Grades 5 through 12 have the option to purchase the standard meal or select from a variety of à la carte items, which range in price from $3.00 to $5.00.
HOW DO STUDENTS PAY FOR LUNCH?
EARLY LEARNING/GRADES K-4
Upon arrival at school, students will notify their teacher whether they will be having a hot lunch provided by the school or bringing a cold lunch from home. This information is used to determine the number of meals to be prepared in the cafeteria each day. Beyond this step, no additional preparation is required from parents regarding lunch procedures. Our dedicated cafeteria staff manages all aspects of meal service for students receiving a hot lunch.
GRADES 5-12
Students in Grades 5 through 12 will use a four-digit PIN to complete transactions in the cafeteria. All food items for middle and high school students are available on an à la carte basis. Parents and guardians can monitor cafeteria purchases through the CAMPUS PARENT app by selecting Food Service from the navigation menu. Grades 5-12 are also welcome to pay with cash.
