We are excited to welcome you to our annual Meet the Teacher and Back to School Night! This special event is open to all students and families from Preschool through Grade 12 and will take place on Monday, August 18, from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM.
EVENT SCHEDULE
3:00-4:00 pm | Grade 5 Parent/Student Meeting
Grade 5 families are invited to a special parent/student meeting with Mr. Young and the grade 5 team in the HCA Library on the third floor.
3:30-4:00 pm | New Family Early Access
Families who are new to HCA this school year are invited to begin dropping off supplies as early as 3:30 PM.
K-12 New Students: Please check in with the Admissions Team in the Cafeteria (2nd Floor).
Early Learning New Students: Go directly to Preschool wing (2nd floor) to be escorted to classroom.
*Student Ambassadors will be available to escort families to classrooms.
4:00-5:00 pm | Meet the Teacher
Preschool – Grade 4: Students may drop off supplies directly in their classrooms.
Grades 5 – 12: Students may walk their schedules and place supplies in their lockers. SIPS will be open! Feel free to stop at SIPS to purchase a drink or a snack.
5:00-6:30 pm | Picnic
Join us on the Front Lawn for a relaxed family picnic.
- Please bring your own food, blankets, and lawn chairs in Ravinia-style fashion.
- Flags will mark designated areas for each school level to help families connect more easily.
5:00-7:00 pm | High School Back to School Bash
High School Students! Join us after Meet the Teacher for a fun night of food and games (spike ball, bags, crafts, volleyball, and more). Enter a bags tournament with a chance to win a prize. Admission is complimentary. Don’t miss out! (High School Parents…join us at the picnic!)
