Mr. Bob Young

About Mr. Bob Young

Mr. Bob Young and his wife Andrea have attended Harvest Bible Chapel since 2003. Bob came to HCA in 2012 after having taught for over 10 years at Larkin High School in Elgin.  We are grateful for his skill set to serve at HCA as the principal overseeing lower school and middle school.  Mr. Young oversees faculty, staff, and students for these areas and serves the Lord with fervor and passion here at HCA.

Mr. Young came to know Christ when he was in college. “I thought that I was good enough on my own and when I was in college God brought me to the place where I recognized that I was not a good person, that I was incredibly selfish and that I needed a Savior.  I gave my life to the Lord in February of 1993 and he has been growing and changing me ever since.”

Mr. Young loves working with the students and loving them with Christ’s love.  He is here to serve in whatever capacity the Lord has for him and to be a part of what the LORD is doing here at HCA. His life verse is Jeremiah 9:24: Let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the LORD who practices steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth.”

Mr. Young’s wife Andrea serves on staff at HBC and they have three sons; one son is in the Marines and two sons attend HCA. They’ve been involved in almost every area of service at HBC throughout the years.
